There are numerous reasons your tires' treads can prematurely wear: severe temperatures, incorrect pressure, rugged terrain, improper alignment, and road debris. When you check your tires regularly and rotate them intermittently during oil changes, you can significantly prolong their longevity and save money on repairs and replacements.
Caring for your tires is easy!
Check these three things to see if you need to visit the service center for tire care:
- The treads in your tires should have a depth of at least 4/32-inches to grip the road with enough traction, letting water and dirt easily flow through the openings.
- If you feel your car pull to one side or the other when you're driving straight, the alignment is off, leading to uneven wear.
- Make sure every tire has the recommended air pressure to prevent the engine from working harder, which consumes extra fuel or a blowout at high speeds.
