Since our sweet boy, Cassius, came into our lives, we’ve been actively pursuing more dog-oriented activities around Albuquerque. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by what a great city this is for pets. Plenty of parks, dog-friendly businesses, warm weather to walk them, and a lot of cute grooming boutiques. We’ve tried some around the city and here are our top recommendations:
Scot’s Dog Grooming
We adore Scot’s and their quaint facilities. They always remember Cassius and his funny characteristics. We enjoy chatting with their employees and our sweet boy always comes home happy. They definitely have a friendly, neighborhood feel.
Poochini Pet Grooming
They truly do make fuzzy into fabulous here. Cassius always gets the full treatment and their services are more similar to a day spa than your average groomers. If you’re really aiming to pamper your pooch, Poochini’s is the place for you.
Doggie Den Pet Grooming
The Doggie Den is awesome for a quick grooming. Even if we’re looking for just a nail trim, they’re able to help out when we’re short on time. You can also board your fur babies here and they’ll give them additional cuddle time upon request.
Groomingdale’s Pet Spa
We enjoy Groomingdale’s for their oatmeal scrub treatment they offer. When your pups are itchy, this treatment is great to soothe their skin. With our dry heat here, our dogs are more prone to itchy skin and this treatment really helps Cassius.
