We’re in the midst of arguably the most entertaining month of the year and it’s going to be our first Halloween with our sweet Cassius. We’ve gotten a little ahead of ourselves and started looking into costume ideas for him. We’ll share with you some quick, easy, and adorable ideas that we’ve discovered.
Ghost
All you have to do is cut some holes in an old white bedsheet and presto–dog ghost! Your pup should not have too much difficulty with this annoying them and you can easily hook it to their collar to ensure it stays put. This is especially charming if you have a dog with extra big ears to hang out!
Skeleton
You can achieve this one by simply painting bones onto a black dog hoodie. Bonus: this costume will also work for Día de los Muertos the day following Halloween.
Mummy
If you’ve got a roll of toilet paper and some tape, you’ve got a dog Halloween costume. Simply take your roll of toilet paper and wrap your dog up until they look like a mummy. We recommend this costume for smaller dogs and preferably if you're staying home. It’s a great costume for the Instagram pic, but you risk tearing the costume if they’re playing around.
Spray Paint Costume
You can do almost anything with the right spray paint color. With animal-safe spray paint, you can effortlessly transform your pooch into a tiger, zebra, or cheetah. This is easiest to achieve on a dog with a solid, lighter-colored coat. They’ll go from “ruff” to “roar” in no time!
We know you’re probably rushing out the door to the craft store to start your pup’s costume, but first let us tell you one more helpful tidbit of information. If you’re reading this, you’ve got a dog, and if you have a dog, your car is most likely a mess. That’s why we’ve bundled together a maintenance package to keep your ride in top shape, despite your shedding furry friends. This package includes three car washes, so you aren’t inconvenienced vacuuming fur out of your ride. Claim your coupon online or visit us at 8800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
