Hyundai is proud to announce that new Ioniq models are arriving in dealerships, as the company is providing media with drives throughout the Santa Barbara region of California. The eco-conscious Ioniq is the first vehicle ever to offer three distinctly different electrified powertrains on one platform, marking an important milestone in the company's global sustainability strategy.
- The Ioniq Hybrid's electric motor pairs with a lithium-ion polymer battery to offer a total system output of 139 horsepower while still providing low emissions and outstanding efficiency and range. The Ioniq Hybrid Blue model boasts an EPA-estimated 58 MPG combined rating, the highest of any non plug-in vehicle in the U.S.
- The Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid offers an all-electric range of over 27 miles that is generated by a 8.9 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery.
- The Ioniq Electric delivers electric mobility, fueled by a 28 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, that provides an estimated driving range of 124 miles and an EPA-estimated 136 MPGe rating – the best efficiency rating of any electric vehicle sold in the U.S.
