Earlier this month, the 2017 Hyundai Sonata was awarded the title of "Best Midsize Car for the Money" by U.S. News & World Report, marking the second time a Hyundai vehicle has been so honored in the last three years.
The publication lauded the Sonata for its versatility and quality, paying particular notice to the spacious interior and extensive offerings of usable technology, standard and optional features.
Brandon Ramirez, senior group manager, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America, stated in a release, “The recognition by U.S. News & World Report highlights out commitment to providing better for our customers. From technology to driver experience to overall performance, we are proud to have the Sonata represent the standard of value in this class.”
The awards, which combine quality and value data into a composite score to arrive at an unbiased determination of the winning vehicles, are given out at the Chicago Auto Show every year.
